CMV Architects collaborates in the tasks for recovering Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

On 8 October 2018, the torrential rains that fell on the town of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar caused the river to overflow at the point where it passes through that town, causing 13 fatalities and a variety of material damages.
CMV Architects, through the Official Association of Architects of the Balearic Islands, took part in the assessment of the affected properties in order to evaluate the amount of aid that residents of the town should receive, as well as the measures to be carried out. Thus, our studio contributed its part to the extraordinary solidarity movement that the people of Mallorca are leading in their commitment to the population of Sant Llorenç.
CMV for the Recovery of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar
On October 22 and 23, several members of the CMV team traveled to this municipality to analyze the state of some of the buildings that were still pending review. Local authorities formed teams made up of volunteer architects and technical building engineers and distributed the tasks planned for those dates among those present.
We hope that normalcy can return to the daily life of those living in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar as soon as possible.
